Launch of Lynx
Lynx is a luxury saloon car that in five to ten years time will compete with top-end models of Audi and Mercedes. Until that time, goals have to be more modest. Hopefully, it will be able to get a one percent market share of luxury cars in the USD 100.000-200.000 range within the first year.
The car will be launched at the 14th Shanghai 2010 International Automobile Instry Exhibition.
The launch will be accompanied by a large advertising campaign, for which we have been allocated a generous budget. At this point, two options for a commercial are being considered:
- a commercial that is a compilation of scenes in several major world cities. Keywords: modern life, glamour, status, wealth.
- a commercial that consists of scenes in the the mountains. Shots of the Lynx (the car) on mountainous roads are interspiced with shots of a Lynx (the animal). Keywords: acceleration, speed, wilderness, freedom.
We are at the moment negotiating with several celebrities, including ... (自己選一些明星). However, contracting them is not easy. They are either too busy or their demands even exceed our large budget.

2. 調查方法
（1）.問卷調查
問卷調查在--初級中學進行，共發問卷420份，回收有效問卷415份，接近理想的高效樣本數。
（2）.座談會及個案調查
整個調查共召開了兩次教師座談會，四次學生座談會。這些座談會，不僅為我們提供了大量生動的典型材料，而且為理性分析提供了基礎。
二、調查的內容及結果分析
1.發現問題並明確問題的性質
在口語教學中我發現：（1）部分學生不願積極參與課堂口語活動；（2）有些學生在口語活動中雖然表現出很高的積極性，但在說英語時卻出現了很多語言錯誤。這種狀況與中學英語新課程標准中關於說的教學目標相差甚遠。
2.進行調查研究
針對上述問題，我對學生的口語學習和口語活動現狀進行了問卷調查。 （調查結果見表1——表3）

1. Scope of work
The market study service that DR proposes to provide falls into 2 parts:
• Review of regional container port competition
• Review of competitive hinterland / inland transportation issues and costs
• Container volume projections / scenarios
Drewry will research and identify each competitor container port and terminal in the neighbouring region and assess their facilities and current capacity as well as any future expansion plans. Historical volumes and regional market shares will be identified as well as each competitor ports』 inland connectivity. Major clients and trade lane volumes will also be identified where possible.
Inland connectivity and costs are a major factor in determining the port』s market competitiveness and Drewry will identify and compare inland distances and costs to major inland cities / markets to those at regional competing ports. Thereafter, an assessment can be made as to the commercial viability of the new container terminal.
Container volume projections / scenarios will be assessed according to each of the above
competitive issues and in relation to historical GDP growth in China and future GDP growth
expectations. Shifts in regional market shares will be a key factor in determining potential future volumes. Consideration will also be given to the regional import and export manufacturing base and consumer demand factors. Base, high and low case volume projections / scenarios will be provided.
3. Deliverables
The deliverable for this market study would be a report in Microsoft Word format, delivered by email, under the following general headings:
a) Executive Summary and conclusions

- Key facilities at each regional competitor port

- Inland connectivity

Home Tutoring
I am glad to meet all of you here today. First, let me introce myself, my English name is Charles. The topic I will discuss is about home tutoring.
Nowadays, children in China often get help with schoolwork from parents, but many students today also get help from tutors. The numbers of tutors has increased greatly in the past ten years. A recent investigation shows that about 80 percent of pupils have tutors.
People¢s attitude to home tutoring is different. Some think of it positively. They hold this opinion, because home tutoring can helps kids to get over difficulties by reviewing old knowledge and preparing new lessons. Some parents choose tutoring because they worry that their children can not learn enough in school or their children may want more difficult work than their school provide.
On the second hand, many parents, for different reasons, missed the chance of getting a good ecation, when their children meet with difficulties in study; home tutoring is the only solution. As home tutoring is usually one to one, He knows the strong points as well as the weak points of the pupil clearly.
But every coin has two sides. Although the above view sounds reasonable, and others think of it negatively. From their point of view, home tutoring just can add a financial burden to parents and a heavy burden to children. Too much tutoring influences children normal study.
Secondly, it takes up so much of the pupil¢s time that they can hardly find enough time for rest and entertainment, which are essential for their physical and mental health. For another, some teachers, busy 「shuttling」 from one family to another, tend to neglect their teaching ties.
In my opinion, home tutoring has both advantages and disadvantages. Moderate tutoring can help children to improve their learning, especially for those who lack the ability to study by themselves, but excessive tutoring may make children too dependent to solve their problems. Therefore, it¢s advisable that we should seek help from tutors when it is necessary. Only in this way, our generation can be healthy brought up.
