赞美可以让人心情愉悦;赞美的语言就像香水一样,容易让人接受并乐享其中。赞美是需要技巧的,不仅要有诚意,更要讲究分寸和方法。这就要求我们掌握赞美的技巧和手段,以便将赞美的话语说得更动听,让人乐于接受。
审时度势,因人制宜
人的素质有高有低,因年龄、性格不同,素质也有所不同。突出个性、有特点的赞美比一般化的赞美能收到更好的效果。对老年人,我们可以多赞美他过去的成绩;对年轻人,我们要在语气上稍显夸张地赞美他的创造能力,并举出几个例子证明他前途无量;对商人,可称赞他头脑灵活、善于经营;对有地位的官员,可称赞他大公无私、廉洁清正;对知识分子,可称赞他知识渊博、功底深厚 当然,这一切都必须以事实为依据,不要称赞过头,让人起鸡皮疙瘩,从而产生反感;对文化层次不高的人或者在比较随意的场合,赞美应该通俗、直白、简单,而对水平较高的人或者在比较庄重的场合,赞美就要费点心思,应更典雅、庄重一些。也就是说,赞美人时,要看清场合,分清对象,使用的语言也要适度,不能太过于夸大,以免引起对方反感。赞美语言适度,才能让对方觉得“香气扑鼻,心旷神怡”。
情真意切,有理有据
虽然人人都喜欢听赞美的话,但并非任何赞美都能使对方高兴。能引起对方好感的只能是那些基于事实、发自内心的赞美。相反,你若无根无据、虚情假意地赞美别人,他不仅会感到莫名其妙,更会觉得你油嘴滑舌、诡诈虚伪。
某经理在KTV唱歌时,跑调跑得厉害,最后连他自己都唱不下去了。他摆摆手说:“哎呀,不行了,献丑了。”谁知他手下的一个职员马上说:“唱得很好呢,简直和某某歌星不相上下。”经理听了,不但没表现出高兴的神态,还很奇怪地看了他一眼,然后不冷不热地说:“我还是有自知之明的。”弄得那个职员十分尴尬。所以说,赞美别人一定要出自真心,要真心实意地感觉到对方的优点并加以赞赏。如果言不由衷,甚至牛头不对马嘴,那么这样的赞美有可能让人高兴一时,但不能长久地打动别人,甚至会导致关系的恶化。
真诚的赞美不但会使被赞美者产生心理上的愉悦,还可以使你经常发现别人的优点,从而使自己对人生持有乐观、欣赏的态度。
